The short version: this is a simple website that shows you our books. We don't run accounts, ads, or trackers, and we collect almost nothing about you.

Information we collect

We do not ask for, collect, or store personal information about visitors. There are no accounts, sign-ups, forms, or payments on this site. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics that profile you.

Standard server logs

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested — such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These logs exist for security and to keep the site running, are not used to identify you, and are not sold or shared.

Third parties

• Google Fonts. We load our typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which may receive your IP address in the process. This is used only to deliver the fonts. See Google's privacy policy for details.
• Amazon. Our "buy" buttons link to Amazon. Once you click through, you're on Amazon's site, and their privacy policy — not ours — applies to anything you do there.

If you email us

If you contact us at contact@bookatprofit.com, we'll use your email address and message only to reply to you. We won't add you to a mailing list or share your details.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site handles data — for example, if we add analytics in the future — we'll update this page and its "last updated" date.
